Seussville

Journal Entry #1: Ruler

In our fine city, we focus on many important things. Mainly, we focus on education and happiness. Because education is the base of the economy and job opportunities, a full 12+ years of schooling is required in our society. Because everyone gets equal education, until they specialize, everyone gets a job no matter what. Also, everyone makes a fair amount of money success is always in reach. More and more people have been joining our country for that reason alone. Our educational system has been thriving!

Another main aspect in our society is happiness. Happy people equals a happy ruler. Because we keep our people joyful, they tend to listen more and obey rules. We keep the smiles up by allowing self expression, allowing people to chose their occupation, and creating a fun and colorful town. With many activities to do around the town and people who are genuinely friendly, there is no reason that people wouldn't live a happy life. By keeping two goals in our head, everyday is a new, and potential filled day. Living here since November 7, 1998, I have grown to love it and would never move!

 Journal Entry #2: Everyday citizen

Dear Mom,

Moving to this new place has been the best decision I have ever made. The fact that everyone around is so happy, is such a positive environment for me to be in. The architecture is absolutely beautiful. They have huge glass buildings with bright colors and bright blue skies. Because people here are so environmentally sane, the plant life, the bodies of water, and the people are all extremely healthy. Being outdoors is completely beautiful. Additionally, living in Euphoria, Seussville, the capital, is so exciting and gorgeous.

Another thing I love about this new home is the cuisine. All of the food has such flavor. Mexican food is  one of my favorites, so I really enjoy how it is a main dish. The variety of smoothies is so creative. They are sold everywhere and made with so many flavors. All of the restaurants offer a delicious, healthy choice for every different food desire.

Overall, this lovely, new home is quite a pleasure. At first I was a little home sick and had trouble getting used to the new culture. Then all the sudden, wham! I fell in love with this place and never wanted to leave. I miss you and Dad very much. Will you, Mom, tell Grandpa I said hello?

Love, Sarah

P.S. I am so glad you told me to, "try new things," because it was a good idea! I owe all thanks to you, not me.

 Journal Entry #3: Police Officer

As head sheriff of Seussville, I see a lot of what happens here. I have lived here for twelve years and couldn't find one complaint to say about it. The crime here is definitely kept to a minimum. Since everyone is so happy, they have no reason to break the law. They do not steal because they all have a good amount of money. People here are contempt with their lives and complain very little.

Most of what I do is watch over the border. Because this place is so great, many people try to sneak in. We handle those who do, and deal with registration to join Seussville. We get around 1 million entries every year and must look at each one with huge care. The type of people in our society is very important to us.

In conclusion, being a sheriff is this country is something I wouldn't trade for the world. I do everything I can to maintain safety, and the people here help by behaving well. Linda, one of my neighbors, once told me I was the greatest sheriff around. That couldn't have been nicer, could it?
